Retail Interactive Design Systems

For the past several years, I have focused on Design Systems for Retail Interactive Web and App Products, including shopping and retail store experiences on Web, and the Apple Store App on iOS.

The systems, elements and templates defined by our team allow for a vital common foundation for design and development.

We provide strategic design thinking to analyze emerging patterns, technologies and opportunities to evolve.

Product Design & Art Direction

I've contributed to nearly every major Retail product-level update since 2014. On Web, this includes major redesigns of the online store as well as updates to Buyflow and Transactional experiences. On App, this includes several Apple Store App redesigns, as well as annual iOS integrations.

I continue to work closely with project teams, as well as with Engineering, Accessibility, and HI partners, to ensure a cohesive design approach for all retail digital products.

Launch Work

Early on, I served as Art Director for launch projects and identified a need for a more systematic approach. I created a foundational set of templates upon which Retail Interactive launch projects are now built.

The Design Systems team and I continue to provide launch teams a thoughtful, holistic context and a thread of consistency across often disparate launch project teams.
